Social Media Statistics
It is so important to track the stats of your social media platforms to determine how well you are performing.
Even more important is that you understand what each stat means so you can develop meaningful insights from your data!
Keep reading to learn more about the different stats you might see on your various platforms.

Sessions
Sessions represent a single visit to your website. Whether a user lands on one of your web pages and leaves a few seconds later, or spends an hour reading every blog post on your site, it still counts as a single session. If that user leaves and then comes back later, it wouldn’t count as a new user (see above), but it would count as a new Session. +35%
Page Views
Page views represent each individual time a page on your website is loaded by a User. A single session can include many page views, if a user navigates to any other web pages on your website without leaving. +41%
Page Views
Pageviews are the number of times a page’s profile has been viewed by people, including people who are logged into Facebook and those who aren’t. +13%
Reach
Reach is the number of people who saw any content from your Page or about your Page. This metric is estimated. +600%
Impressions
Impressions are the number of times any content from your page or about your page entered a person’s screen. Don’t have the exact percentage increase but looking at FB impressions are up quite a bit as we have added to the advertising budget with organic content.
Accounts Engaged
Accounts engaged highlights the total number of accounts that interacted with your content in a given time period. +46%
Account Views
The view count is the most basic measure of how popular your video is. Instagram views are recorded after three seconds of view time and give you a basic view of how well a video is doing. Instagram regards 3 seconds as a view. We would have to look at performance of each video that is longer than 3 seconds
Accounts Reached
Reach refers to the total number of unique accounts that have seen your post or story. Impressions measure the total number of times users saw your post or story. +220%
Impressions
Impressions on Twitter is a total tally of all the times the Tweet has been seen. This includes not only the times it appears in a one of your followers’ timelines but also the times it has appeared in search or as a result of someone liking the Tweet. It does not include times someone may have seen the Tweet through an embed on a website, third-party platform or via text preview. It only counts when you see it on Twitter itself. -24% Makes sense as we are not as active on Twitter.
Impressions
Impressions shows the number of times each update is visible for at least 300 milliseconds with at least 50% in view on a (signed in) member’s device screen or browser window. Unique impressions shows the number of times your updates were shown to unique (signed in) members. No matter if it was clicked or not. Think of reach as the number of unique people who see your content. In a perfect world, every one of your followers would see every piece of content you posted. +160%
Vodcast
Look at Facebook & YouTube since Vodcasts are promoted on socials and viewed on YouTube. FB reach is up 600% and YouTube views are up 36%.
